To attend this course you must have the following:

 

- This course is for existing therapists ONLY - age 18 and over, to add to their existing knowledge and qualifications.

 

- We are guided by what the professional bodies and insurance companies ask for.

 

You will be required to have:

 

• LEVEL 3 certificate in Anatomy and Physiology and LEVEL 3 in full body Massage qualification (Swedish, Holistic or Body).

We accept one certificate which combines both or individual certificates if you have gained these qualifications separately.

 

• It can be an ITEC, VTCT, BTEC, CIDESCO and CIBTAC or a similar qualification.

• NVQ level 3 that is required to join this course is at least 100 training hours.

PLEASE NOTE: A qualification in Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, OR a w-end diploma or a short course in massage CANNOT be accepted.

 

We have to adhere to the professional body and insurance guidelines and we are unable to take a student for any advanced body work courses without a Body Level 3 Massage qualification and A&P, as this course is designed for students who already have this massage qualification and wish to add to their skills and learn other more advanced techniques to the ones they have learnt for the use on the full body.

It is VERY important you check that YOUR qualifications are accepted before signing up to this course. If you are unsure of the level of your Massage or A&P training to attend our advanced courses (Deep tissue, Thai Yoga Massage, Thai Foot Reflexology, Herbal Compress etc) please check this with your training provider for the course you completed.

 

Your training provider will be able to confirm if the course you have taken is to a level 3 that is required, we cannot tell you this as it has to come from who you trained with. If you have taken a Level 3 ITEC, BTEC or similar and you know your qualification is acceptable please go ahead and book when you are ready.

 

We will require a scanned copy of your qualification before you attend.

 

If you are not sure that your previous qualifications will be accepted for you to attend this course please read the following carefully. It is the responsibility of the student to make sure they have the right qualification before they sign up to the course.

If however your qualification was taken overseas and not in the UK, you can check with NARIC to see if the level you trained is to our UK NVQ Level 3 requirement.

We suggest that you check your qualifications on the NARIC website http://www.naric.org.uk/

 

They are the National Agency, managed on behalf of the UK Government, who provide the official source of information on international qualifications.

 

They will be able to map the qualifications onto the UK framework and also help if you have foreign qualifications.
